Samsung Galaxy S6 VS HTC ONE M9 : Samsung Galaxy S6 with microSD slot

XDA-Developers forum member reefer has posted photo’s of what is believed to be the prototype Samsung Galaxy S6 flagship for AT and T. The leaker decided to exercise caution and not boot the device but has noted that the handset is “pretty slim” and is certainly more refined feeling than Galaxy S phones of the past. Aside from the expected metal frame, Samsung has replaced the backing from the usual plastic to a glass material. Originally seen in handsets on the iPhone 4 and Nexus 4, this is certainly not an original idea and leaves the device more prone to shattering when dropped. Which one is the best for you to buy Samsung Galaxy S6 or HTC one M9. See the review of Samsung Samsung Galaxy S6 VS HTC ONE M9.

There also doesn’t seem to be a removable battery or a microSD slot which is very unlike Samsung to move in an Apple-esque direction. Now take all of these photos with a grain of salt, these photos are not coming from a reliable source and the device is labeled as a prototype. Changes are to be expected as the device does not fit the bill of the curvy GS6 seen in teaser shots during a commercial. The engineering markings and half finished rear camera seem to suggest that improvements could have been made between this prototype and the final product set to be unveiled.

This iPhoneified Galaxy is expected to be announced on Samsung’s March 1st event. Although not certain yet, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is bound to disappoint avid fans who were used to having complete control over your battery and memory options.

Samsung Galaxy S6 VS HTC ONE M9 : HTC One M9 with Android 5.0 Lollipop

HTC One M9 has officially made an appearance online thanks to a pair of leaked photos. This leak has come courtesy of, a trusted source responsible for many iPhone leaks in the past. This is the very first time we’ve gotten a complete look at HTC’s upcoming flagship smartphone.

It was only a couple days ago that invitations were sent out for the upcoming HTC media event at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. The slogan of this event is “Join us to see what’s next”. Based on this, we can be sure that HTC will be revealing the HTC One M9 on the 1st of March.

The design appears to share with the One M8, visually not much has changed. Why stray far from perfection, the HTC One M9 is built with the same construction and will likely feature spec bumps and camera upgrades. The rear however has a single camera module compared to the M8’s dual camera configuration.

Originally leaked by Nowhereelse, the photos were quickly removed from their website as they had received a request to remove them. This adds further more credibility to the legitimacy of this leak.

The single camera unit on the rear is reportedly going to be a stellar 20 MP sensor which will be HTC’s ‘UltraPixel’ technology on their smartphones. Spec wise, the HTC One M9 is rumored to be running a Snapdragon 810 chipset along with an Adreno 430 GPU. 3GB of RAM is said to be standard, most likely to be DDR3 spec. From the pictures, it looks as if HTC has decided to stick with the 5-inch 1080p display which has yielded much praise. The front-facing camera as well is expected to be a ‘UltraPxel’ enabled one.

The HTC One M9 will be the very first HTC phone to come equipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop, this is to come as an out of the box firmware, not a later update like many other phones promise. While the Lollipop update is only being rolled out for the developer editions of the M8, the M7 is expected to get the Lollipop update fairly soon. After reading this review, now you will be able to take your decision easily to buy  Samsung Galaxy S6 or HTC one M9.
